New York Monochrome.

I love images in black and white - I feel they bring detail to life, never more so than with architecture and street photography. This is something I want to pursue more in the future but a brief visit to New York in December of 2019 gave me the opportunity to capture some fleeting images on my I-phone. The weather was freezing and very wet and we had no idea that Covid would take hold just 2 months later. Times Square was in full New Year prep mode and the streets were bustling. I became more than a little obsessed with the steam billowing out the street vents so iconic of the city. I'm longing to return for that perfect shot.
